One of my most unique creations was undoubtedly the shotgun shell light adorned with a duck motif. Combining rustic charm with a touch of outdoor aesthetics, this piece was a labor of both creativity and craftsmanship. I began by collecting spent shotgun shells, meticulously cleaning and arranging them to form the body of the light fixture. Each shell was carefully positioned to create a symphony of textures and colors. To add a touch of whimsy and homage to the great outdoors, I fashioned a small duck figurine from wood and delicately placed it amidst the shells. The final flourish was the illumination – threading a string of warm LED lights through the shells, casting a cozy and inviting glow reminiscent of a cabin retreat. The result was a one-of-a-kind piece that seamlessly blended rugged charm with artistic finesse, a true testament.

The biggest inspiration for Joe is his late dad (pictured on right with Submarine Service hat) – also a U.S. Veteran. Joe Arnold is highly respected, just like his father before him. Both a true credit to those who served their country.

Joe especially loves the creative side of custom built lights – everything from sourcing material, to design process to interacting with the people to solve their lighting issues.

Meeting customers and surprising them with his amazing light creations never loses appeal for Joe, a husband to a loving wife and father to wonderful children. Joe values time with family, and especially cooking to share family meals.

As his business grows, Joe wants to take on and train others. Giving back is very much in his heart.

When you buy a light from Veteran Lighting you are not just buying a unique piece. You are supporting a man on a Mission.

Show your support to those who served to protect your country.

BENEFITS OF CUSTOM LIGHTING:

TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS: A cookie-cutter lighting plan might not consider all your needs. Custom lighting addresses areas that require brighter task lighting or dimmer, mood lighting.

AESTHETICS: Custom lighting lets you incorporate unique fixtures that match your home’s style. This can be especially impactful in entryways, kitchens, and bathrooms.

IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY: Strategic lighting placement can make everyday tasks easier and safer. Think under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen or well-lit hallways. All these will greatly improve your homes comfortably and feeling within your home.

GAME-CHANGING LIGHTING:

ENHANCED BRAND IDENTITY: Custom lighting fixtures or strategically placed lights can incorporate your logo or brand colors. This creates a memorable visual identity that reinforces your brand image.

SETTING THE MOOD: Custom lighting plans can create a warm and inviting atmosphere in reception areas, bright task lighting in workspaces, and dramatic spotlights on merchandise displays in retail stores.

IMPROVED CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE: Proper lighting can make a big difference in how customers perceive your space. Custom lighting ensures your business is well-lit, creating a safe and welcoming environment that encourages customers to linger.

Every night, Sparky would light up the room with his warm glow, chasing away the darkness and bringing comfort to the family that lived there. But deep down, Sparky longed for adventure. He dreamed of exploring the world beyond the four walls of the house.
